Summer Capsule Wardrobe

I have purchased two style guides; one summer and one VERY last minute for a trip to Canada (which they were extremely kind to accommodate me in a two day time frame.) I would ignore the bad reviews, as this type of service, and team, are more than willing to work with you if you don’t like something and/or need additional guidance.

I love that my first style guide included a lot of things I already owned (that they had no idea about.) I loved using these guides as a way to figure out how to style things that I already own, and I loved getting introduced to new brands and styles (that I never would have known about had it not been for Fashivly, and their team.)

There are quite a few recommendations that I am given that aren’t typically my personal preference and/or style, but I’ve decided to leave them because the team is just pointing me in a direction that I wouldn’t normally go in. For example, I’ve seen vests online and/or in person, but I’ve never been a huge fan of them so I’ve never tried them on. One of my style guides had a vest over a sheer top that I tried and I loved it! Never judge a book by its cover.. these stylists are dressing for YOUR body type, and I’m grateful because, like stated previously, I am branching out of my comfort zone far more than I ever have (and discovering that there’s a whole lot more out there that I love but never gave a chance!)

Each style guide also includes a “hey, try this in the black version if you decide you don’t want to wear this color,” kind of comment, so it’s not just black and white. I know that if I was just completely against something, all I would have to do is respond to the email and say so! The stylist would find something that I’m more comfortable with wearing.

I’m very happy with these services and I’ve purchased quite a few things that were recommended (my favorite pants, shoes and shirt have all been recommended by Fashivly stylists!) I am also using it as a guide.. I may not like an outfit in its entirety but I’m matching tone/texture/etc to find an outfit that I like (that I never would have tried before!) I will continue to purchase these services, probably before every season and get introduced to styles that are trending, new brands and new ways to style things. Hands down, one of the best decisions of my life was coming to Fashivly for style advice. Every one of my friends will be receiving a style guide for Christmas!

Everything is well explained and easy to access. The style guide it was exactly what I needed I enjoyed shopping for the pieces and building the wardrobe of my dreams. I have returned for most seasons and will continue to use this guide.

I will take full responsibility that the description of my style may not have been clear enough. However, I was under the impression the stylist would be looking at my social media footprint, so I gave it a four instead of a five. This was probably an unreasonable expectation on my part. The outfits were cute but not something I would feel like my best self in. For the price and how many outfits I received it was reasonable.

I have done two style guides with Fashivly, and loved both. They introduced me to a new brand that I am thrilled with. I made several purchases from the style guides and feel so good about myself wearing them. I am looking forward to doing a fall style guide soon. It is definitely worth the money.

i had to redo my capsule because it wasn’t quite nailing what i wanted. i don’t wear anything they suggested and maybe bought ine thing. i wish they had the style references before i did this.
